Right, I wasn't going to do a blog that delved into our sexual relationship. BUT so many people fricken ask so I thought I'd address it.
Does the Bag get in the way?
Does the bag make it awkward?
Does the bag mean you cant do this or that?
Does it smell?
Is it loud?
NO, NO , NO , NO. I really do not understand why as soon as people find out Ben has a stoma bag they are automatically intrigued about our sex life. I don't ask questions about you sex life so why ask about ours. HAHAHA.
It's crazy, absolutely baffles me. I do just laugh it off. But it's strange. Sorry Family. But me and Ben have a very healthy sex life. I will not go into anymore detail than that. I mean it's crazy why does everyone want the nitty and gritty.
When you have been with someone for almost 6 years, the last thing you are going to look at 'getting down to business' is the flaws. Right?
There is so much more to our relationship than a stoma bag, beyond that, and beyond the scars Ben is very attractive.
Have we had any awkward moments during intimacy with the bag? Well it's pretty awkward when you have no idea what the hell it is during the first time. But other than that NO. I mean awkward funny moments happen to everyone at some point during these moments, just because there's a stoma bag doesn't make it any different.
The only thing we make sure of is that the bag is empty before hand. It's not a mood kill or anything like that ... it's just normal for us.
Rant over. The answer to all your blooming questions is no. Our intimacy is our business and no a bag doesn't make it any difference. If anything we have a stronger and more intense relationship because we know how it feels to be apart and enjoy our time together more (mostly).
So that's it guys. Living with an illness/ bag doesnt affect our intimacy, so you can all rest now 😂😂😂
