Whilst live streaming the basketball I was a vision mixer; I also helped the director choose which camera to focus on. This was an opportunity to develop some of my skills. The basketball matches were very quick, so I had to be focused and ‘on the ball’.

We live streamed the matches for Solent Sport, it is popular with the Kestrel fans to stay up to date with the matches.

 For the Christmas Pantomime I was stationed on camera 1 filming the Nuffield Theatres Christmas Pantomime Cinderfella. I had to pay attention to the directors’ backstage and make sure that my camera remained in focus at all times. I had to ensure that I reacted with the show and with the instructions from directors. This was a new skill for me to learn on the job as I had never had directors orders on the comms before this.
