Presenting Radio Bulletins.
Thankfully Inews was working again when I presented the radio bulletin. Due to our voice training sessions clashing with our news day we had to pick the bulletins that were not clashing with our sessions.
I had the first bulletin. This bulletin is usually shorter at 2 minutes long. However due to the breaking news of Flybe collapse we decided that the bulletin needed to be slightly longer to include all the relevant information and facts. Usually the shorter bulletin at 11am does not have any soundbites. However, we were lucky enough to get a soundbite of someone struggling to get home due to the collapse of the airline.
Whilst presenting the bulletin I accidently put the wrong mic up, so my sound did not pick up very well at all. This wasn’t a huge problem as I was able to re-record the bulletin and re-upload it. As expected, it was better time round.
Overall, I was impressed with how my bulletin turned out and I had a lot of fun producing it. Once I had finished, I helped other members of my group complete their scripts and gather all the soundbites they needed.
